Thompson Cemetery

 A - L | M - Z

is on the S. edge of S.W.1/4 of the S.W.1/4, of Section 17 of T28N., R1W, 2nd IN P.M. & in Western BOONE Township , N.W. CASS County , north-central, INDIANA .  Cemetery is about 14 miles N.W. of Logansport & 3 miles W. of Royal Center, IN., less than 3 miles from the Pulaski County line & just 1 1/8 miles E. of the White County line. Cemetery is on the N. side of State Highway 16 [ Monon-to-Huntington Rd ],   but on the S. side of the road formerly served the traffic between Monon & Royal Center .

 

 

 This is a roughly triangular shaped cemetery.

 

Fieldwork was done on Sunday, July 12, 1942 by

2 infant sons of W.A. & S.J. Thompson , d. 10/22/1865 & 10/25/18?5 could they be twins? & there are 6 Thompson Infant or [I.] stones in a row 1st -4th-5th read “Infant, The 2nd, 3rd & 6th read “I.” & one slab missing from base in this row & another tiny stone with no inscription.
