She died at 10:10 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2003, in Chase Center.
Born Aug 23, 1917, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Charles Edward and Rosa Edna Hopple Dunsizer. She was married in October 1960, in Kokomo, to Harold Geyer who died in March 1976.
Mrs. Geyer had been employed at the former H. W. Gossard Company and the former RBM.
She was a member of the Fidelity Chapter #58 Order of the Eastern Star and a former member of the Business and Professional Women.
She was a life-long member of United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Geyer enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.
Surviving are two daughters, Cynthia C. Beck, Logansport, and Jane Armick Martin and her husband, Richard, Kokomo; one son-in-law, Charles E. Calloway, Logansport; two sisters, June D. Huddleston, Logansport, and Thelma Weaver, Niles, Mich; five grandchildren, Donna Hermance and her husband, Greg, Debby Holmes and her husband, Dave, Dana Routt and her husband, Wayne, Candace Bellamy and her husband Jerrid, Tracey Anne Martin, and David Armick and his wife, Jody; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
One daughter, Judith Calloway, and one son-in-law, Ronald L. Beck, preceded in death.
The Rev. Bruce Vernon will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Graveside services, with military rites, will be held for Ralph W. Moyer, 85, of Royal Center, at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Thompson Cemetery, near Royal Center.
He died at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2004, in his residence.
Born June 21, 1918, in Star City, he was the son of Jack H. and Jennie M. Fall Moyer. He was married June 23, 1945, in Rochester, to Mary E. Day, who survives.
Mr. Moyer was a retired truck driver and mechanic. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in World War II.
Ralph was a member of the Lucerne Christian Church and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an avid mushroom hunter.
Also surviving are one son, Tom Moyer and his wife, Mary Lou, Burnettsville; three daughters, Jeanne Baker, Royal Center, Cindy Beck, Logansport, and Jane Martin and her husband, Richard, Kokomo; one sister, Eileen Robbins and her husband, James, Valparaiso; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
One brother, Dale Moyer, and two children preceded in death.
Dick Raderstorf will officiate at the services.

Clyde E. Button, 84, 1900 N. Third St, died at 2:17 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 23, 1899, in Royal Center, to George and Anna Koske Button. On Oct 18, 1922, he was married to Dessle Calloway, who died May 21, 1940. He was married to Louise Weddington who died in October, 1957. On Dec 29, 1960, he was married to Clare Hall, who survives.
He was a retired meat salesman after 40 years employment, including 35 years with Marhoefer. He was a member of the Baptist Temple; Orient Lodge No. 272, F. & AM; and Logansport Elks.
Also surviving are two daughters, Wilma McKinley, Anderson, and Helen Russell, Monticello; a sister, Celia Bauer, 1107 Pleasant Hill; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Clara Ellen Button, 74, 1900 N. Third St., died at 10:36 a.m. Thursday in White County Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 9 1909, in Logansport, to Enoch and Nora Bush. She was married to Emerson Hall, who died in 1958. She was married Dec 29, 1960, to Clyde Button, who died Feb. 27, 1984.
She was a former employee at Kay Bee. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a 15-year member of the Home and Hearth EH Club.
Surviving are two stepdaughters, Helen Russell, Monticello, and Wilma McKinley, Anderson; three stepgrandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
A sister preceded in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Fisher Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Keith Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Betty Ann Murphy, 64, of 1617 Smead St., died at 4:20 a.m. today in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
She was born March 24, 1925, in Logansport to Charles Quincy and Gladys F. Maxon Calloway. She was married Aug 11, 1946, in Logansport to Floyd E. Murphy, who survives.
She was co-owner of Murphy Realty.
She was a member of Baptist Temple. She also was a member of the Cass County Board of Realters.
Also surviving are a son, Larry W., Rt. 6; a daughter, Patricia Sharon Boys, Huntington; three brothers, Robert Q. Calloway, Lafayette, Charles F. Calloway, 719 Marleton Road, and Carl R. Calloway, Warsaw; and five grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum Funeral Home. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.

Services for Floyd W. Murphy, 72, of 1617 Smead St., will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum Funeral Home.
Mr. Murphy died Saturday in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb 6, 1921, in Logansport, he was the son of Cecil and Lena Croutcher Murphy. On Aug 11, 1946, he was married to Logansport to Betty Ann Calloway, who died July 18, 1989
Mr. Murphy had owned Murphy Realty and was a broker and appraiser. Formerly, he had worked as an engineer for the Pennsylvania Railroad and as a pressman for the Monticello Herald Journal and the Pharos-Tribune.
He was a member of Baptist Temple Church, Farm Bureau Credit, Cass County Board of Realtors, Masonic Lodge No. 272, F&AM, Scottish Rite of Fort Wayne, and Eagles Lodge No. 323.
A veteran of the U. S. Army, he had served during World War II.
Surviving are one daughter, Patricia Sharon Boys, Plainfield; one son, Larry W., Rt. 6, Logansport; two sisters, Alice E. Murphy and Opal Wardlow, both of Logansport; and five grandchildren.
One brother preceded in death.
Officiating at the services will be the Revs. Todd Matson and Keith Kirk. Burial, with military rites, will be in Shiloh Cemetery.

Former Sarasota, Fla., resident Gilbert Roman Calloway, 85, of 1241 Smith St., died at 7:42 a.m. Sunday in Chase Center.
Born March 21, 1909, in Logansport, he was the son of Charles and Agnes DeBoo Calloway. In 1945, he was married in Logansport to Bessie Overholt, who died in 1973.
Mr. Calloway, who had worked as a contractor at one time in Logansport, retired as maintenance supervisor of the Sarasota School System.
He was a 50-year member of Tipton Masonic Lodge No. 33.
Surviving are one daughter, Marilyn Cover, Logansport, one brother, Cecil, Kokomo; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday Crooked Creek Cemetery, with the Rev. John Randall officiating.

KOKOMO-Services for Cecil E. Calloway, 85, of 1213 E. Cadillac Drive, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Ellers Main Street Chapel.
Mr. Calloway died at 2:15 a.m. Friday in his residence.
Born July 17, 1911, in Logansport, he was the son of Charles and Agnes DeBoo Calloway. On May 10, 1932, he was married in Cass County to Margaret M. Klotz, who survives.
Mr. Calloway retired from Delco Electronics in 1977 after 37 years of employment. He had worked in tool and die and made injection molds.
Also surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Margaret Ann Pearcy and Sandra and Ronald Luckey, all of Kokomo, five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews

Margaet M. Calloway, 87, 1213 Cadillac Drive East, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan 1, 1998, at her residence. She was born Feb 20, 1910, in Beech Grove to Joseph and Myrtle Barbara -Uncapher-Klotz. She married Cecil E. Calloway May 10, 1932 in Cass County; he preceded her in death April 11, 1997.
Calloway was a homemaker. She had worked at RBM Automotive in Logansport.
Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Sandra and Ronald Luckey and Margaret Ann Pearcy, all of Kokomo; five grandchildren, Ronald Luckey Jr. Amber Luckey, Michael Luckey, Donald Luckey, and Emma Bowser and 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Zeta Deegan, Logansport, and Elnora Crowe, Walton; and several nieces and nephews.

Joseph James of Logansport, sixty-three years of age' died Sunday (May 24, 1959) at Memorial hospital there. He was born in Winamac on Nov 14, 1895, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John James- (Sarah Elizabeth Crim), and spent his youth here. His first marriage was to May Elea of Winamac, who died in 1944. He was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness church. Surviving are his wife, Jannie; six sons, Cecil, Charles, Donald, William and Paul of Logansport, and Kenneth with the Air Force in Alaska; two daughters, Evelyn, Amarilla, Texas, and Josephine of Logansport. Two brothers, Floyd James of Royal Center and Harve of Phoenix Ariz, and a sister Mrs. Ethel Boggess of North Manchester. Services were held Wednesday at the Chase Miller funeral home in Logansport, with the Rev. Ralph McCrory officiating. Burial was in the Winamac cemetery.

Services for Cecil P. James 81, 510 E Wabash Ave, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Marocco Funeral Chapel. He died at 7a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2000, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born May 24, 1918, in Winamac he was the son of Joseph and Mae Ely James. On Nov. 23, 1940, he was married in Logansport to Edith Prophet, who survives.
Mr. James was employed as a roofer his entire life. He liked to attend car races and enjoyed fishing. He was fond of animals of all kinds.
Also surviving are two daughters, Betty Frye, and her husband, Buck Frye, and Carolyn McCain. All of Logansport; two brothers, Don James, Elkhart and Kenneth Janes, Texas, six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Six brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. The Rev. Paul H "Curly" James, 34 of 831 State St died at 9 p.m.Sunday (Dec. 31, 1961) at Veterans hospital, Indianapolis, of complications resulting from a cerebral attack and pneumonia. An employee of Wolf Construction Co he had been admitted to Memorial hospital Dec 23 and transferred to Veterans hospital the same day. Born Nov 17, 1927 in Logansport, he was the son of Joseph James and Mae Ealey James. His marriage was on Feb 22, 1948, to Bonnie Delores Stambazze, who survives. Also surviving are three children at home, Paul Jr., Honey, Paula and Dixie Lee; eight brothers and sisters, William, Donald and Cecil, all of Logansport; Charles , of Deer Creek; and Kenneth, with the U. S. Air Force in Texas. Mrs Evelyn Birnell, Beaumont Tex; Mrs Joseph Knight, Walton; and Mrs Edna Ropp, Logansport; his step-mother Mrs Jane James, of Logansport.

Bonnie Deloris Stambazze was born to Jacob Stambazze and Ida Gertrude BeBee on November 5, 1930 in Kokomo Indiana. She lived most of her life in Logansport, Indiana. Married to Paul H James February 22, 1948 until his death December 31,1961. Remarried Ralph Charles Koppe March 5, 1963 until their divorce in 1980.
Bonnie (Mom,Grandma,GG) was survived by her 7 children, Honey BeBee James-Camp-Jaramillo, Paula Delores James-Vogleman-Sanchez-Wagner, Dixie Lee James-Blessing, Paul Herbert James, Ralph Charles Koppe III, Anthony Mario Koppe, Christopher Lynn Koppe, among her children she had 13 grandchildren Honey-3 Paula-5 Dixie-2 Paul-2 Anthony-1-and 6 great grandchildren Honey-3-Paula- 2-Dixie-1. Since her death, she has additional grandchildren from Chris & Ralph and greatgrandchildren, from Angelica (Dixie's daughter, Katherine (Paul Jrs daughter)and Angela Kristine-Nina Marie Sanchez-Frankie Sanchez (Paula's children).
She was known as Mom, Grandma and my granddaughter called her GG. Mom was special in alot of ways and is missed terribly and will always be missed.

Samuel Kale Turnpaugh was born to Simon Ross Turnpaugh and Ida Gertrude BeBee on May 27, 1912 in Cass County, Ind. He was raised in Logansport, Indiana. He married Joyce LeMasters, remarried Maria A about 1972 moving to Seattle Washington. He is survived by his wife Maria (Snowball) and his daughters Sandra Turnpaugh-Sandoval and Ada LaRae Turnpaugh both of Las Vegas Nevada, 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He died Jan. 21, 1982 in Seattle, King County, Washington. Samuel Kale known to Sandy as "DADDY" will be missed by his family forever.

Josephine Calloway Crispen, 76, passed away at 1:12 o'clock Friday morning at her residence, route 1, Logansport, following a lingering illness.
Born on May 11, 1876, in Cass County, she was the daughter of William and Rebecka Calloway. Her husband, Theodore Frank, died in 1929.
Survivors are: two sons, Walter E. and Harry Ray of route 1; 2 daughters, Mrs. Daisy Seybold and Mrs. Francis Costello, both of Logansport: a brother, Charles and a sister, Mrs. Daisy Jones of this city, 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
Final rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Crooked Creek Christian Church with the Reverend M. Herner officiating. Burial will be made in Crooked Creek cemetery.
The body was removed from the McCloskey-Hamilton Chapel to the residence of Mrs. Seybold, 319 Hammond Street where friends may call. It will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Monday to be in state until the time of services.

Mr. Seybold died at 2:53 p.m. Monday, Dec 1, 1997, in St. Joseph Dialysis Center, Kokomo.
Born Feb 14, 1925, in Cass County, he was the son of Henry E. Sr. and Daisy Crispen Seybold. On June 4, 1950, in Logansport, he was married to Mary M. Bard, who survives.
Mr. Seybold was a 1943 graduate of Washington Township High School.
He retired in 1983 from the Conrail Railroad, where he was employed for 34 years. He was a signal maintainer and testman for the Pennsylvania, Penn Central, and Conrail Railroads.
He was a resident of North Judson for 30 years before moving back to Logansport in 1983.
Mr. Seybold was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Also surviving are one son, Ronald D. Seybold, Portland, Ore; two daughters, Constance Hipsher, Peru, and Debra Moore, El Paso, Texas; one brother, Donald W. Seybold, Logansport; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
