He leaves a widow and five children: John, Bernard and Anthony Bender, Mrs. Andy Radke and Mrs. Joseph Morter, all of this city. The funeral was held Saturday morning from St. Josephs Church conducted by Rev. Father Kroeger and burial was made in Mt. St. Vincent. |
18 JUN 1933 THE LOGANSPORT PRESS BENDER Sick for five weeks, Mrs. Caroline Bender,95,widow of Egidius Bender,who died 19 years ago, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Morter,338 Tanguay Street, yesterday morning at 150 o'clock. She was born in Alsace Lorraine and came to the United States 52 years ago. Funeral rites are to be conducted from the St. Joseph Catholic Church Monday morning at 9 o'clock with the Rev. Father M.J. Aichinger in charge. Burial will take place in St. Vincent Cemetery. Survivors include Mrs. Horter; four children Mrs. Andrew Radkey of 1100 Nineteenth Street, John Bender of 920 Seventeenth Street, Bernard Bender of 1126 Nineteenth Street, and Anthony Bender of 1024 twentieth street; ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.the Rosary Society of St. Joseph church will meet at the home at 730 o'clock tonight for prayers. |
