This information is posted so that the community might be aware of what our center has on short term loan. We get a variety of films from all over the country, thanks to our patrons and when they are through looking at the films, there is always plenty of time for others to take a look."

Our center, as well as all other FHCs, provides free access to Ancestry.com to all patrons.

We can also order from the large collection of microfilms kept in the Granite Mountain in Salt Lake City. Visit www.familysearch.org and check the online catalog. (Click on Library, then Family History Library catalog and select a search mode)

The Family History Library charges a small fee ($5.50 per microfilm - 15c per microfiche) to cover the shipping. This first charge allows you 30 days of viewing time. Microfilms and microfiches remain the property of the Family History Library and can be viewed only at the Family History Center during regularly scheduled hours or as pre-arranged with local staff if you need extra flexibility.

Should you need more time to view the information, you can renew the loan for an additional $5.50 for another 60 days of viewing. A second renewal (same price) keeps the microfilm here indefinitely. Our center can also make

of information found on the microfilms and microfiches.

Any microfilm can be viewed or renewed by anyone, even if you were not the one who ordered it originally. First priority is of course given to the patron who placed the order.

There is NO charge to use the Family History Center and ALL researchers are welcomed!

Regine serves as President of The Belgian Researchers and has deposited the holdings of the organization at the FHC for patrons to view. That's why there are many films specifically aimed at Belgian research but that include their areas of settlement too.
