Wendel Miller, Washington township farmer, father of Dr. George D Miller, of this city, died yesterday morning at 2:30 at the family residence, aged 68. He had been ill for some time with the effects of an attack of la grippe to which death was directly due. He had, however, just recovered from the effects of an operation in which he lost a foot which had been infected with gangrene.
Miller was born in Altoona, Pa., on Nov 21, 1840, and moved to this city in 1862, where he located on the farm where his death occurred yesterday. He leaves besides Dr. Miller, of the city. John W., Edward H., Frank C., William H., Nora N., Cora B., Miller, and Mrs Mary Minneman, Jefferson township, and Mrs Joseph Lehnan, Dayton., O.
The funeral will he held Friday margining at 10 from the St. Bridget church, in this city, followed by burial in Mt. St. Vincent. The cortege will leave the residence in Washington township at 8:30.

Frank Farrell died yesterday afternoon at the residence of his daughter, Mrs Charles Hildebrand, 616 Twelfth Street, aged 74 years. The funeral will he held Saturday morning at 9:00 o'clock from the St. Vincent de Paul's church, Rev. Father Crosson conducting the service Burial will be made at Mt St. Vincent Cemetery.

Mrs. Caroline M. Miller, widow of Wendell Miller, died at 6;40 o'clock Sunday evening at the family residence in Washington township. Deceased was eighty five years of age.
She is survived by four sons John, Dr. George Miller, William and Frank Miller four daughters Mrs Josephine Lehman of Dayton, O., Mrs Coa March of Royal Centre and Miss Nora Miller residing at home one sister Mrs Josephine O'Neil of this city and one brother John Grusenmeyer of this city.
Mrs Miller was born in Dayton O., May 22, 1842, her parents being Joseph and Mary Grusenmeyer, old time residents of Logansport. She was united in marriage Oct 5, 1869 to Wendell Miller and to the union twelve children were born

Mrs Emma Mae Beale 48, wife of Jason W. Beale died this morning at 7:15 at the family residence 1437 Meadlawn avenue. She is survived by her husband: five daughters, Mrs. Ray Smith, Mrs Paul Shideler Misses Marjorie Elma Bell and Mary Jane ?eall; two sons, Russell and John Thomas Beale: her mother Mrs. Kenney and four grandchildren.
The funeral will beheld Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the residence, conducted by Rev Carroll of the Ninth street Christian church of which deceased was a member.
Interment will be made in the I. O. O. F. cemetery at Rockfield

Mrs Margaret "Maggie" Miller, 67, widow of the late Dr. George Miller, passed away at 7:30 o'clock Monday morning at St. Joseph's hospital.
She resided at 918 1/2 East Broadway. The late Dr. Miller died in an auto crash in 1935. Mrs Miller was member of the Order of Eastern Star, No 58.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Chadbourne, Findley, O.; and two grandchildren, Mrs Ruth Black, city, and Susan Chadbourne, of Findley, O.

Born December 29, 1873, in Carroll county, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Robinson.
Her husband was killed in an auto crash in 1935. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs, Dorothy Chadbourne, Findley, Ohio: tow grandchildren. Mrs Huth Black, city; Susan Chadbourne, Findely, Ohio; a sister, Mrs I. B. Hood, Kewanna.
She was member of the Order of eastern Star. No. 58, which organization will meet a the chapel this evening for rites.

Final Services for Mrs. Mary Minneman, 81, widow of Christopher, will be at eleven o'clock Wednesday morning at St. Joseph's church. The Rt. Rev Msgr. Foley will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery.
Mrs Minneman, whose home was in the Beaumont apartments, died Sunday at 11:20 p.m. at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Viola Wood, in Rochester.
Born April 30, 1875, in Decatur, Indiana, she was the daughter of Wendell and Caroline Grusenmeyer Miller, Her husband, Christopher Minneman, died Dec 6, 1852.
Survivors are six daughters: Mrs. Viola Wood, Rochester: Mrs Bernadine Coleman, Royal Center: Mrs Florence Smith, Bismark, Arkansas; Mrs. Nellie Fouts, Denver, Ind.; Mrs Doris Warnacutt, Porter, Ind.; Mrs. Agnes Fouts, city; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters: Mrs. Josephine Lehman, Dayton, Ohio; Mrs. Cora March, Royal Center; Miss Nora Miller, city.

Edward H Miller, a brother of Coroner G. D. Miller, died Monday night at the family residence six miles south of the city at the ate of 30 years. Deceased has been a sufferer with sciatic rheumatism since last July and about three weeks ago an operation was performed to relieve him, but he never recovered from the effects of it, having been confined to his bed until his death. He is survived by his other, 4 sisters and 4 brothers. Coroner G. D. Miller, John W. Frank C., William, Mrs. Chris Lieneman, Mrs. Tony Lehman of Dayton, Ohio, and Misses Nora and Cora Miller.
The funeral will be held from St. Joseph's church at 9 o'clock Thursday morning, conducted by the Rev. Father Kroeger. The cortege will leave the home at 7:30.

Edward H. Miller of Washington township died last night at 11:45 o'clock, after a short illness. He was thirty years old and is survived by four sisters and four brothers, namely" Dr. George D Miller; John W. Miller, Frank C Miller and William H. Miller, Mrs. Joseph Layman, Mrs Christ Lieneman and Misses Nora and Cora Miller. Deceased was a member of the Foresters and Eagles. Miss Nora Miller, 76, Cass native, died at 3:15 p.m. Saturday after a lingering illness. She expired at the home of a niece, Mrs. Joseph Daggett, 218 Montgomery.
Born in Cass county July 26,1884, she was the daughter of Wendel and Caroline Grusenmeyer Miller. Survivors are one sister, Mrs Cora March, Lucerne; a number of nieces and nephews.
Miss Miller had resided in Dayton, Ohio, for a number of years. She was a member of St. Joseph's church.
Friends may call at the Kroeger funeral home after7 p.m. this evening. Rosary will be at recited there at 8 p.m. Monday.
Joseph's church at 9 a.m. Tuesday. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Maurice Foley will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Frank C. "Mike" Miller, 59 of 214 Cole Street, passed away at 11 o'clock Wednesday night at the St. Joseph hospital following a short illness of pneumonia. The father of twelve children, the deceased was born on Aug. 27, 1881, in Washington township, to Wendell and Caroline Miller.
Surviving children are: Betty, Nedra, Norma Jean, William, Donald, Joseph, and Frank, all of Logansport; Mrs Florence Daggett, 213 East Colfax street; Mrs . Alvina Fickle, Galveston; Mrs. Mildred Harper, Sacramento, Cal.; Mrs. Elizabeth Rivers and Mrs. Alice Douglas both of this city.
Surviving also are a brother, William, of this city; four sisters, Mrs. Josephine Lehman and Miss Nora Miller both of Dayton, O.; Mrs Cora March, Lucerne; and Mrs. Mary Ann Minneman, Royal Center; and four grandchildren.

GALVESTON- Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Thomas-Murray Funeral Home for Miss Mary Wininger, 79 who died early Sunday morning in Howard Community Hospital.
The Rev. Tom Clark will officiate and burial will be in the Galveston Cemetery. Calling will be after 3 p.m. today.
Miss Wininger was born Aug. 6, 1894, in Miami County to Frederick and Rosa Miller Wininger. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death. She was a registered nurse and had been employed by Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

LANDES, N. C. - Word has been received of the death of John Calvin Wininger, 81, 217 E. Ryder Ave. He died Friday at 10 p.m. at the Cabarrus Memorial Hospital, Concord, N.C. after a two-year illness.
He was born in Miami County Aug 22, 1891 and received his education in rural schools there. His parents were Red [should be Fred] and Rosa Miller Wininger. In 1954 he was married to Margaret Shinn.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Gunnell, Galveston; a sister, Mary Wininger, Kokomo; three grand-children and six great-grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
Mr. Wininger had been a newsman and farmer all his life. Before leaving Kokomo in 1932 he was employed by the Kokomo Dispatch where he had a daily column under the name of Kal Vinegar. He was employed with the news department of several North Carolina newspapers and retired from the Salsibury Post, Salsibury, N. C. in 1962.

Funeral services for Edmond Guy Sharp, 86, Kokomo, a native of Miami county, were conducted last Saturday at Galveston, with interment in Galveston cemetery.
