Camp Drake - Murfreesboro, Tenn. 12 June 1863

Dear Tribune - In order than friends may know for satisfaction and you to whom to send Tribune, I send herewith the muster roll of Co. D as it stands at present. We are expecting pay for March and April in a few days - Tribunes of the 4th ins. recieved.
Those about whom no contrary remarks are made are here and well.

Fifteen have been discharged, one transferred, one killed dead in battle, six mortally wounded, and six died of disease from this company since organization.
We have recieved 23 recruits and lack six of having a full company of 101 men as we had when we entered Camp Morton August 28th 1861.
ROSECRANS has promised to arm the 39th with the Spencer rifle shooter. More anon from M. GARRIGUS.
