CASTNER, Kenneth J, son of Sherman and Myrtle CASTNER, was born 22 Dec 1895 at Sycamore, Ind. He entered the army 29 Mar 1918 and was promoted to first class private and assigned to the Ninth Co. Fourth Regiment Motor Mechanic Department, Field Artillery. He was stationed at St. Nazaire, France, in auto truck work. He was returned to the States and mustered out 14 Jul 1919. stone

Donald J.H. CULBERTSON(1887-1943)
Donald Joseph Harry CULBERTSON (born 19 Oct 1887 - died 29 Dec 1943), son of Calvin Garrigus and Martha CULBERTSON, received his education at the Soldiers' and Sailors' Orphan's home in Knightstown, Indiana. Upon enlistment in the army at Kokomo, Ind 29 Jul 1918, he was assigned to the Vancouver cut-up plant, Vancouvber Barracks, Wash. and attached to the 25th Spruce Squadron, 2nd Provisional Regiment.
GRIFFIN, Ross C., is a son of James and Anglette ELKINS GRIFFIN, of Greentown, Ind. He left Kokomo Ind. with the men who went to Fort Hamilton, N.Y. April 3 1918. He was a member of the 328th F.A. Eighty-Fifth Division, which sailed for France July 30 1918. After nine months overseas service, he returned in March 1919 and received his discharge 15 Apr 1919. stone

Eighteenth Battalion 159th Depot Brigade, Camp Zachary Taylor, Ky. His parents live in Kokomo, Ind. According to the gravestone, he died 27 Jan 1966. stone
