This ledger book was purchased by Jim Lyons and he has kindly allowed me to borrow it to share with you the names on the store's accounts in this book covering a time period of August 9, 1876 to as late as June 22, 1878. We do not know if other books from this store still exist. If they do, they are not in our possession.

Listed are the names on the account and the dates the account ran. This would be an indication that person lived in the area during that time period. The store carried a line of goods from food to housewares, clothing to firewood.
